Field Officer - Coffee Plantation & Community Engagement

Join Nabe Coffee, a leading specialty coffee producer in Bali, as a Field Officer and play a pivotal role in supporting our sustainable coffee farming initiatives. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with local farming communities in Badung, Bali, to ensure high-quality coffee production while promoting environmental and social sustainability.

As a Field Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring coffee plantations, providing technical support to farmers, and fostering strong community engagement. You will work with a diverse team of experts, including agronomists, environmentalists, and community development officers, to implement and maintain best practices in coffee farming.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Monitor and assess coffee plantations to ensure adherence to best practices and sustainability standards.
• Provide technical support and training to farmers on coffee cultivation, pest control, and harvesting techniques.
• Conduct regular visits to plantations to collect data and provide feedback to the team.
• Foster strong relationships with local farming communities to promote engagement and participation in our sustainability initiatives.
• Assist in the implementation of community development projects aimed at improving the livelihoods of local farmers.
• Collaborate with the team to develop and implement strategies for improving coffee quality and yield.
• Participate in field trials and research projects to support the continuous improvement of our coffee farming practices.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards in coffee production.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in coffee farming, agricultural extension, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of sustainable farming practices and environmental stewardship.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with farming communities.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant agricultural software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for field work.
